No , Not necessarily. Just check the course page to see it's layout. My local parkrun is all brick road but some parkruns I've been too have been all grass/dirt road.

Avoid the grassy Parkruns when it rains or wear your old retired runners.

Hit another PB at parkrun today. 27:08 @ 164bpm average. It was hot and windy as well but body was feeling good.
