Remake is good but it didn't have the immersion of the first game. Can't even ride trams or trains like in the original which is the thing that irritated me the most. Why would they do that lol.

A lot of other things that were changed that I didn't appreciate either and some missions are just way better in the original.

The real question is can I still waste 96 hours trying to win the damn race? If not, I’m not interested.

Haha! Yeah I'll agree on that one. Apparently there is a shortcut that makes it easier but we'll find out in the next few days when I'll maybe attempt it again.

The race is easy peasy. Never been too hard for me even in the original. Just have to take it easy around corners.
 
Mafia was one of those games I've always wanted to try soley because of the box art but there other must have games I had to buy first.

Strangely nobody had the game during my iso DVD swapping days too.
