I tried one of the total war games before and can say with 100% certainty that rts type games are not for me:laugh:
 
I went to the page I saw that they had a recent event the game was free on the 24th at 4pm SAST.

That is true, which after it just went down the shitter. Yet to try out Three Kingdoms :thumbsup:

I like Rome 2, and I like that they still support Rome 2, but meh. I only hope that the upcoming Troy is a bloody good game and that they don't go mythical 'magical' with the game.

The hardcore Total War player base didn't like the gun battles. Shogun 2's standalone expansion is the exception, but it is only because the bombardments are ridiculously exciting to watch. All in all Shogun 2 is a very special game, but the giveaway doesn't include the DLC and the standalone expansion.

This Total War series has very good mod support, Medieval 1/2 is still widely played online with the GoT mods.

I still play Napoleon now and then.
