Steenhuisen says, both the motion of no confidence in the cabinet and the motion of no confidence in the President has been approved by the Speaker. Are we gonna see sparks fly? He also says they didn't put a motion against Rama, cause they're worried that SA might get President Mabuza and Sisulu... Which is understandable... Also says individual MPs should vote instead of a general party vote led by the chief whip of each party. Also supports a secret ballot.

The fight for a working, accountable government starts here. The DA's Motion of No Confidence against President Ramaphosa's cabinet will go ahead in Parliament and is now scheduled for the 30th of March!

A debate has been requested about the Ukraine/Russia meme in Parliament. The request has been accepted.

In all honesty, I'm thinking of two things here:
  • Either have Parliament have a vote on what South Africa's stance should be (Russia, Ukraine, Neutral)
  • Have a national referendum on what SA's stance should be.

Since when do MPs vote like that John?
Politicians have very short memories.

If we keep on appointing people like this we have no chance to move forward.
True, politics has never been about moving us forward, it has always been about securing the interests of the concerned politicians and their friends, if we happen to move forward while they are doing that, it would just be a wonderful coincidence.

When does this show air? I need to buy some popcorn.

They argued that it is not the ANC he is obsessed with destroying but instead the DA, with the hope of ActionSA becoming South Africa’s second largest political party.

Looks like paranoia is setting in, they are governing three of the metros in the country with Mashaba's help, but he is obsessed with destroying them and not the ANC?

But having a scapegoat to point to after they are done with their self destruction is always a good thing.
