So, is it official now, we can get 2mbps modems?
R179/month x 24 months – 24-Month contracts
Umm... it doesn't mention on what contract, expensive if its just the modem...

r00igev@@r please can you inform us what the requirements are for external antennae on these new modems? Do they have one or two connectors?
Eish... cheaper for me to go to a WIMAX provider
Yeah, but whom?
In our latest billing communiqué, we mentioned the new 2Mbps modem, and were so enthralled with it,
we told you the price for the prepaid modem only, and forgot to mention the price on upfront purchases and contract pricing!
WERE SORRY!
We hate to inconvenience you, so were really sorry we got it wrong!
GET IT RIGHT!
OK, so whats the deal? Our fantastic new 2Mbps modem is priced as follows:
R1299 Prepaid bundles
R3499 Upfront purchases
R179/month x 24 months 24-Month contracts
Sometimes these little omissions happen but we try and catch them before they make a mountain out of a molehill!
Thanks to those of you who let us know about the error we appreciate your input!

R1299 Prepaid bundles
From iBurst's website:
Why is the Prepaid 2mbit modem R1299 ? (Obviously the price per meg is much higher sure..., but surely the price of the modem is R1299)
Think about it, what if you bought it on prepaid and then decided not to buy a single meg. (THen they sold a 2mbit modem for R1299) <--- Am i wrong?
Obviously they sell it like that, to make more money on the Prepaid , which is ruffly R500 for 750MB data bundle that can be used over 3months (bundle is basically R0.67 per meg)
