The Sony X1 Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Got my X1

Hey all just got my x1 and i am really enjoying this phone, its my first windows phone so i am still feeling my way around a bit. I got quick question in one of the panels you can set which city you at like jhb, durban etc but their is no cape town does anyone else have this problem or know where to set up?

Just checked out that cape town issue... thats pretty funny.. its for vereeniging, but not cape town... hell, its got kempton park... no cape town...
im in jhb, so wouldnt know of a fix...

which panel is it?
 
yea... thats unlucky... dont know how to fix it.. you can try xda-developers, maybe someone has a similar post... good luck

hehehe... forgot to ask you when we last spoke, i would like to put the safety cams on my tomtom.. dont know how...

pass on the safety cams but if you have sa speedcams I might just pm you for those :p
 
Well, the map he is linking to is pirateware, a no-no on these boards.
 
Anyone have an idea how to use the x1 as a dialup connection in vista( got me some data usage left over each month that can go to good use ). Tried the normal bluetooth link route which fails ( with the custom AT strings aswell ).
 
nevermind, sonyericssons website actually had the answer for a change
