I need some please guys

I am looking for a stock rom, can someone point me in the direction where i can download one, anywhere expect rapidshare cause that url is blocked here at work.

I found one that i downloaded sometime back but when i un-rar the file its comes up as an image file that just not look right.

Even when i rename the file the icon says the same showing the image icon and this tells me its still an image.

I found that as well and downloaded as well but also seems to be that image file. I see the file name says .exe and when i ran the file it said file is corrupt/ didn't download correctly.

How would i go about using a image anyways out of interest?

jis that rings a bell of an earlier problem i had too.... im convinced it was a simple filename change to Kovsimg.nbh
 
Seems like its not possible to re install soft spl with a fully loaded and activated ROM.
I am not able to get pass the screen alignment exercise so i am not able to fully install the stock ROM.

Well now to see if the techies will notice if the phone has been hardsp.

Let you guys know.
 
I've been using Rota's Blaze 1.0 LEO Rom from HTCpedia for a week now and I'm very impressed. Quick and stable. One or two things missing or not working but not deal breakers. Really nice. Anyone else tried it?

Any of you have a workaround to the HardSPL [Error260: Connection Issue]. I keep getting this error just after my phone goes to the Tri-Colour Screen. Make no sense as I am able to establish an ActiveSync connection.

Please help - I don't wanna be stuck on FireStorm 2.2 forever. Sad, I know.

Have you tried the MicroSD method?

Any news regarding your phone yet? Mine f***** out yesterday, screen is on but not responding to touch at all.

Managed to flash stock Vodacom Rom and Stock SPL back onto the phone so from a warranty standpoint all should be good, just hoping that they fix the dam thing...

Will give it a bash tonight. Does this mean I won't have to do HardSPL? Also KVI, you have the new 3.6.53 FireStorm?
 
have you done the hardSPL before? i think i saw you say you already flashed? if you already flashed you dont have to hhardspl again

Oh Snap!! I never knew that. thought i have to do a HardSPL everytime I wanna flash anew ROM.

For those of you who want a cradle for their cars and aren't happy with the normal universal suction cup options. I found a really reasonable option at CelluCity. It's called Tetrax Xway. Can be used on smartphones, gps' and ipods etc. Check out the website at www.tetrax.it

Cost me R350.00 which isn't much more than the suction cradles and it's really discrete. Attaches to your air vent. The only drawback is that you need to attach a small magnet to your phone (no more lying flat on a surface). The functionality is awesome and imo worth it.
