Don't you put on some desensitising cream or something?

Loads of opinions on this that I have heard from "it's copping out and detracting from the experience" to "it messes with the ink going in"

It has not really gotten bad enough for me on the areas I have had done that I couldn't cope anymore, but everyone is different and I think there are so many variables to the pain experienced. Some artists also have really heavy hands which can make it worse.
If a cream worked and didnt mess up the ink I dont see why people shouldnt use it

I'm really going apesh1t at the moment. chest, shoulder and back next

Wish I could! If I may ask (don't answer if you feel it's too personal) but what industry / job are you in? I always wonder (accompanied by much jealousy!) with ink that can't be hidden.

One man small IT business owner and consultant. In summer, shorts, t-shirt and slops (live by the ocean). Hardly any of my clients, except the real old and bitter duckies don't mind one bit. After many years I've earned my reputation as weird and eccentric, so I'm accepted as such by now.

Awesome!

I would as well but its so damn expensive.
Although I reckon I will keep one arm relatively clean. Need to get some back and possibly calf work done

Be careful people.

I have to mention. This time since I had some ink put pretty much all over my arm I chose to go the dry healing method. I got some of this from Dischem and I have to say this is the best post ink lotion I have used. Absorbes great and doesnt leave you oily but does leave the skin proper moisturized the whole day. When you feel a slight itch its probably been 12 hours and its time to reapply before bedtime routine. Also made of natural products and the ingredients list is like 5 or 6 ingredients which i like. Absolute winner this!

Any decent fine line artists northern suburbs in Cape Town? Looking for something similar to this and I understand lettering too close will bleed together.
