It all depends on what you do and who you go to. Could be anything from R5000 to R70 000 if not more. If you need to know for your budget contact the Tattoo studio and give them an idea of what you want and work from there.
Mine was 5 3/4 days and then one 3 hour session to finish, so somewhere around R30k.

Surely that’s at the upper end of tattoo studios and includes a lunch as part of the fee? The rental on that studio can’t be cheap.

Pre lockdown yes, lunch was included. The studio has since moved location though so no longer have that partnership with the restaurant they used to get their lunches from, though I'm sure they'll reinstate something in the coming months.

Yeah, he's likely in the upper end of rates.

Final session is booked for March 5th. 5 hours to finish the sleeve and do any touch-ups. Bit sad to think it’s coming to an end, as I started this back in 2014

I felt that way when I finished my back piece many moons ago. But hey, there's always more real estate :)

So the sleeping beast has woken and I am ready to get some work done again. Have been planning a full sleeve for little over a year now and I am finally ready to start.

I have been recommended a guy by the name of Sky Constable from Tattoos by Sky.

His work looks good and after reaching out to him he seems keen and knowledgeable.

So before committing to something that’s going to be visible forever and cost me R25k, I would like to find out here if anyone knows him or his work ?

He started out at True Blue I believe where he did my very first piece. And another for a friend later. He left soon after that.

No issues. Nice guy. Good work.
