I actually like the Nissan Juke. Don't know how people can say it's ugly. Weird, maybe... not ugly. I want that 1.6 turbo. Can't wait till they release it here (hopefully by year end).

The Stallion is actually still around - its now called the Avanza. The original square Stallion was designed in the Philippines as a basic delivery van.
Then it underwent many changes but the line goes something like Stallion -> Venture -> Condor -> Avanza.

My father has this car. A Ssangyong Musso.
It doesn't compare against other SUVs ... BUT ... proportionally ... for the price we had to pay for this car .... it was a better buy than buying any other SUV. This car has got SPACE which you'll only find in a Land Cruiser Sahara. It's got many other deficiencies but I love this car and will buy it from my dad if he decides to sell it one day.

Musso always looked like a supersized Uno to me.
I had to drive a stallion around when I was doing some vac work in December.
Worst vehicle I've ever driven. Even though it had a 1.8l engine it struggled to hit 110 on the highway (and made a huge racket while doing that).
No power steering, no air-con, no radio, only 4 gears. Severly underpowered and it has a really crappy gearbox.

Sure, the Stallion is no oil painting and as far as handling goes the Ananza still carries the legacy of falling over with very little effort required. However, what we consider to be the Stallion's down fall is what was its strong selling point for quite a few business owners I know. If you want a plaas bakkie or delivery vehicle that is though and won't be taken on joy rides or land you any speeding tickets on your desk then Stallion was your top choice. I know of a few farmers in Stellenbosch that were forced to switch to Tata Telcoline when the Stallion bakkie was phased out. Granted, these farmers do not buy Stallion/Telcoline because they are poor, their S-Classes / Land Cruisers / Raiders / 7-series tell a different story, they buy these feature deprived bakkies because they are so.... how do you put it.... workforce friendly

You may have to buy it from your dad because no dealership will trade it in.
They are simply not trade in able, if there is such a term..

Kak man! I had one as a rental a few months back. Hit a bubble in the road (TINY pothole) and the door mirror fell out of its housing. Between the time I picked it up, the 800km I drove and the time I handed it back, half the car wasn't working any more and that was with me transporting a few old ladies. What an absolute POS!
I don't think the Multipla is ugly, its unusual, definitely not ugly.
For ugly I'd name the Sangyong range of cars, they have a MPV that's just hideous, then I'll rate the new Dihatsu Terious, only because its popular on our roads now and its uuuugly!!
