Damn...I've always wanted to live in a place with a green view. Sea would just be bonus.
Yeah, no sea view from that window. We got the place to rent for really cheap. R8000 inc W&E.

I am sure their VAGs compensate for it. Just put a window in the wall between your garage and bedroom. Problem solved. And the grinches with ****ty views have arrived![]()

Oh you think I don't have a view like that because I choose to drive a fancy car? We have 1 car for the family and it's a paid up 10 year old Camry, and I bike into work. Our total monthly vehicle cost is under R1500. I just earn a lousy salary but I'm working on that.
My bad, and apologies for being a bit of a douche about it. Best of luck with your career.Oh you think I don't have a view like that because I choose to drive a fancy car? I do the same but all the savings I score on fuel I put back (double or triple) into my cycling. It remains a money pit for me...... I started cycling to the gym and back, amazing how much you can save in fuel.
With so many negative things in our country we often forget that it is still one of the most beautiful countries to live in. Therefore one should make the most of it and try to capitalise on the beauty of the land. As the saying goes; life moves pretty fast, if you don't stop and look around for a while, you could miss it.
So that got me thinking, what scene of our beloved land do you get to gaze upon from your bedroom window? If you are paranoid then don't post but if you think you have something worthwhile and a view that inspires you when you wake up every day please do share it.
Here's mine, pardon the mismatch in light as I stitched it together from multiple pics :

I actually can see the Helderberg mountain from my bedroom quite nicely but it's got plenty of housetops in between not to mention the bars on the windows to look out there. Thankfully we also have this view 2 minutes away:I only see a driveway and across from that the neighbours townhouse.Moving the end of the month, at least I can then have a view of only my own garden.

Man I'm all about that for the past 4 months or so, even notwithstanding the cost savings. Also working towards the house with a view. (Not that there is a lot of that in this town) I started cycling to the gym and back, amazing how much you can save in fuel.
