The Wifi point from hell....

I don't know how Android does it, but could there be another device joining or still joined that is signed in as you and that syncs settings to your Google account? And its just restoring the "remembered" network? (it should be deleted everywhere but i don't have experience on how its done on Google)

Once upon a time about 100 years ago, I went to the airport, and I logged onto a stupid free Wifi service called "AlwaysOn" or stomething stupid like that. Now EVERY flipping time I go to the airport my phone tries to re-connect to that same stupid wifi point, and of course I can't do anything until I turn off my wifi. I've told to forgot that wifi point, but it doesn't seem to want to forget it. You cannot imagine the drama... when trying to pick up or drop off people, and you can't get through to them or phone them or whatsapp them until you remember to turn off your stupid wifi because once upon a time you connected to that stupid wifi point from hell.... Why won't it forget that stupid wifi point????
I had exactly the same problem with Always On, and agree that it's very frustrating. Google remembers it and reinstates it. I can't remember exactly what I did to remove it though...

If it's a Xiaomi , welcome to their **** decisions, to intentionally exfiltrate some of your information by automatically always connecting to any open hotspot it sees . Running into this **** so often it makes me wanna cry. Driving in Hyde park Sandton, my phone connects to hotel hotspots etc by itself if I am at a robot. In a shopping center, even more fun.

My old Nokia with android one firmware never did this so it's something Xiaomi intentionally enables. No way to disable this behaviour.
None of those bloody open hotspots work. All configured by a teenager using a dlink router.
