13.98 South African Rand
 
It's not the dollar. Euro dropped too. This is just revenge for me being back in the country. :p
 
Going the wrong way for a Black Friday Junk downgrade, but we'll take it

Dammit, 20c lower than when I bought this morning. Oh well, wasnt going to risk waiting for a downgrade.

Analyst consensus is downgrade (barely though - near even) which would probably push it over 15. Pity Snoop earns imaginary dollars from his trades.

Hamish, how on earth did you people manage to f-up the economy in such a short period of time? I bet, very very few people saw that coming. Just do a google on SA's economic outlook 20y ago. Everything was looking good. WTF went wrong? Comparing the economic growth from 1965 to 1985 and 1995 to 2015 . Is like OMG. And during the '80s SA had sanctions imposed on them too.

I think it's the snoop who took the bait.

You thanked Zuma, and was expecting the rand to drop....yet somehow it went the other way. An yet you still claimed profit. You don't win by betting the other way. And that was all the proof I needed that snoops madoff-esque trades were too good to be believed

It’s ok, his Putinbot commision was paid on Friday, so his imaginary forex transaction profit was actually agitprop roubles into his bank account.
