For example?

well there is this huge SA trade surplus that's unheard of for atleast 10 years, the ALSI just came off all time highs, the DOW has risen 5000 points within a year, all this within the context of relatively slow real growth numbers despite low interest rates

Wait until NDZ wins the election... back to R14.40 within the hour of the announcement.

Who says she is going to win?

She will win. If not, then state capture was indeed a myth - and I doubt this. In order for state capture to work, she needs to either become the next president, or at least the next vice president so that they can recall whoever else is in charge.

You assume that state capture was an ANC project, not a Zuma project.

I do not assume. State capture was an ANC project, hence the reason there were so many Gupta-henchmen in various positions that protected Zuma. Unfortunately, they do not trust any of those henchmen, and I would neither, and they need NDZ to take over from Zuma. Whether she 'wins' the election outright, or CR wins it and the henchmen later unite to recall him and replace him with NDZ. This is how state capture works. They do not simply give away ownership due to some silly votes...

So much pessimism. Must be tiering for you.

1 US Dollar equals
12.81 South African Rand
