The uncertainty if you should embark on a project that will take a lot of time and not being sure you'll even be happy with the end result.

Got a '81 Peugeot Rapport road bike from my brother and I'm trying to restore it. Already dropped R150 on a seatpost from eBay so this will take a minimum of 2 months. Needs barrel adjusters on both brakes and the steering is varked. Maybe in the end I'll enjoy riding a retro bike that is as old as I am?

I know :( Everyone says that.

It's not like I'm a roadie nor am I into classic bikes, add to that I already bought a Peugeot this year that cost me loads of money. Although I do love to drive it. About the Rapport, they sell for R2000 and seeing as I got it for free I'm going to try and spend less than R750 to get it going again. Otherwise I might as well break it for spares or put it in the classifieds on Bikehub.

The post office. It's impossible to get anyone to talk to with their call center. And they lost a package and it's impossible to find. Argh.

Fruit flies or fruit insect pests ( whatever you call them?).... always seem to be present as soon as you start eating your fruit? They are nowhere around-you don't see them, but have a banana , apple , pear , orange, peach and "BOOM" they all over pestering your delicious fruit and your face, at times they are more irritating than pesky mosquito's!!

When a bird refuses to chat to you after giving you her number (which you didn't even ask for in the first place!). Like if you're not going to engage, why even give me your number in the first place

Chin up, there are plenty of fish in the sea (birds in the sky)

A colleague arrived late this morning after being held up and robbed by a gun wielding thug.

This drama queen moron comes over, hears the story and complains for 20 minutes about the time thieves stole that plastic little mirror people paste onto their car door mirrors. He went to the police and they never came to his house to take finger prints!!!

Some people just have to add their 2c worth, to try and one-up whoever they are speaking to.

I tend to gravitate away from people like those because they always seem to want the last and final say in any discussion

I hope your colleague is OK, I know what the shock can do to a person so make sure they are 100% fine and have them speak to a trauma counselor if need be
