different R-Box. This is one the supplier sent me to test, it blew up, they sent another and now all of a sudden it works. It is with a AM chip not the ROCK chip...
 
I've read about side loading ... How would that work? Where would I start?

If I get tonight, I'll try it for you. The box is preloaded with Kodi and Plex, but I only streamed from Plex. Kodi I went into the app and played with a few settings, but not streaming.
 
Just got home and someone removed the adapter from the box :'(

But I think it sideloading may work, albeit I'm not sure what resolution

I didn't the adapter this weekend :( So I can't power it up ...

But I was going to use mine ; but yours may better. Maybe someone else manages before I go back to the office

@Dolby , appreciate all the help and feedback in this thread. Can you confirm if they are okay with someone taking it on 24 months @ R49.00 p/m? :p and if so, someone go grab one already :D.

@Sumen , see if you can contact the Gateway branch and get it on contract too ;).

I've actually got nothing to do with Telkom or pricing. I'm just as in the dark and rely on MyBB

I also read they're available at R1,099 or something, but these guys definately had no idea
