e8400
for a 45nm i cannot get past 4.05ghz without temps rising alot
very disappointing from an overclocking point of view, i thought 45nm would overclock better, maybe the e8500 is the boy![]()
AMD is still the better value for money buy.
For those of us that watch bleach... BWAHAHAHAHA!
*cry's when I see the 4.0Ghz mark on the E8xxx*
IMO, for a realy cheap good quality overclockable CPU a E2160/80 is the best!!
I just picked up a 2160 this afternoon. A pointer on how to OC it on a Asus Mb would be appreciated.
My point is that you CAN play most games on an very cheap AMD (with a decent graphics card). I just don't like people saying 'don't buy AMD it's crap' - Well it's not, 'cos I've got AMD and Intel and prefer my AMD setup, but I will never tell guys not to buy Intel, it's their personal choice. As for overclocking, I think most people just do it for fun ... and bragging rights .. lol.Dude, you're a dork. It is SO easy. No one said you HAVE to. Wait.. what is your point!? Oh right, you don't have one, ..riight.
What's with the attitude anyway!?
Lame.![]()
Which Asus mobo would that be?![]()
Um how can I put this, let's seee.. \_-!!NO IT ISN'T!!-_/
