Thunderbird 3.0 released!

For anyone interested there's also an RC2 version of Thunderbird 3 Portable, which has absolutely no problem switching your emailing back and forth either off a USB stick or by simply copying the entire directory from the USB stick onto a hard-drive of your current machine, then copying it back and to another machine etc. while maintaining complete consistency, settings, contacts, emails. No need to even change drive letters, and all your mail goes with it, wherever you work. Awesome!

I do miss a Send button on the main toolbar though! Just have to get used to looking for it on the Compose (message) window...

but no lightning / calandar built in or avialable as an extension.
What good is Thunderbird without a calandar facility?

I think Thunderbird has become like Microsoft. Offering incomplete software just to get to market.

Very very dissappointed:mad:

Don't be a tool, it's an email application not a bloody task scheduler. I use Thunderbird to download emails.
