Hi Guys.... i've known time capsule to be wireless backup supply but can you use it as a wireless harddrive ?
Like for instance you have a bunch of MP3's, Movies, photos or whatever, you wanna copy it to your wireless time capsule & access it whenever you want, like via your new apple tv lol
off course i got my automator converting my divx movies to apple tv 720p
?
The thought of having an Apple wireless harddrive is wicked cool.
btw,
1. i dont know if there are wireless harddrives out ther, but having an Apple one would be my first choice
2. backing up your computer doesnt necessarily mean you can use it as a storage device, you could if you could backup only one folder then delete the files on your main computer once its finished, then you could use time capsule as a storage facility. Im hoping someone can find a way around this.
3. im kind of a neat freak, so not having wires or a cluttered desk is what im looking for. Just gotta get around my Altec Lansing THX speakers
i luv em speakers, for a R1000 speaker set, it sounds better than some peoples R10 000 home theatre systems, thanks to George Lucas & Steve Jobs for THX & Apple.
Anyways tooo much being said now, blame the caffeine
Anyone know a way around the wireless harddrive time capsule thingie ?
