time for a break up

the worst thing is breaking up over the phone/sms/email/fb...that just fails and shows disrespect... if you don't want to be with her, then you tell her form your heart..its a tough one, but get it done and over with...go to her place, tell her before hand you need to talk to her and its important... when you get there, don't get to comftable cause after you have talked she will probably want you to leave... just don't 2nd guess your decision, stick with it no-matter how much she cries or goes on about how she will change and all that...

after its done, call or sms her the next day asking if she is ok, after that, you go on with your life...
hope this advice can help a bit :-)

seems like the best option so far

actually, i'm not so sure anymore - some holes are starting to appear in this idea

- Python has a point
- If she doesn't know you are intending on seeing her afterwards, she will think you are breaking up with her over an e-mail - thats even worse than a phone call!

No. What if she thinks you're coming over to propose to her? Imagine her shock.

why would she think that if he says "We need to talk"

Proposals are usually a surprise to the women as well, not followed after a "We need to talk"!

Because someone wanting to propose would hardly call and say "I need to propose to you".

On Venus, "we need to talk" can mean a million things. It all depends on the tone of voice with which it is said.

Be a man, tell her in private. Face to face don't be a wimp and use technology. Just go see her and sit her down and be honest with her.

If it is preceded by a sigh he should be safe... but women are masters at hearing what they want to hear so tread with care.

He wouldn't be here if he were any man about it. He's here because he knows the right thing to do is to man up & face her.

agreed - but do you really think any man would call and say "We need to talk" right before proposing?

no ways - "we need to talk" usually means a bad thing....
