Tips to Boost your eBucks

Does anyone know if this part of the rules is applied :

For every online purchase with your FNB Private Clients accounts after R7 500, you earn eBucks at your shopping (swipes) reward rate.

i noticed i hit the 7500 limit now two months in a row, thus do they reward the remaining balance at 2.5%? (i'm currently on Private clients)
i do have the option to structure it a bit better, eg paying some of the bills at a checkers counter to be safer, but would prefer sticking to one platform.

Probably. On RMB Private I know they do, and it shows a note under the earn saying as much when you view the detailed earn per category on internet banking.

Is it a certain you need the same colour card cheque and credit card to earn nicely?

True. Previously you could have a gold and platinum accounts for cheque and CC.

That was my issue since the last rule update in Oct.

I got 10% of what I should have gone if I was on the same package.

I upgraded asap, just to earn more ebucks.

If you want rewards from FNB (You need at least a cheque account or CC (both on gold or platinum) or a one account I think).

Which package are you on?
If gold you need to avoid drawing cash at an atm AND draw cash at till to get maximum. If platinum you just need to avoid drawing cash at atm.

Ah OK. Thanks for the info.

read on both newshost and carbonite, eBucks rule changes on 01JUL2015, thus aligned with Annual Pricing changes. Any truth to this?

end of MAY15 I would imagine to give us 1 month to effect necessary changes?

Apparently pricing guides up 1 June - let's see what appears for eBucks. Would make sense if the pricing review and eBucks review were aligned.

If things become harder and more expensive, I am moving to Capitec. Most guys got their levels up nicely and then they decide to change. Should give us 2 years of the same to change behavior.
