"We have re-branded to Private Clients and if the account remains Platinum you will eventually end up
without a banker. Your account will fall under the Premier Suite where you will be serviced by different bankers."

So now everyone will have black cards at the Checkers till? Sigh. How are the rich people really going to stand out when all the peasants have the same color cards :D

You mean Woolies. If you want to see upper middle class in all its glory, go to Woolies.

July it is the current / saving account package changes. In Sept ebucks rules changes

July changes are current / saving and ebucks.

Lol.. talk about confusing. Most of what I've seen talks about the earnings of ebucks (which remains AFAIK the same). I'm yet to see mention of RL points earnings.. which I'm most interested in.

This has been asked but I don't see an answer (may be wrong): Do you know if the smart device monthly payment count as a debit order? Thanks

No ... ebucks rules are totally different from the yearly banking fee structure changes. That is my view.

I saw the ebucks section ... mmm, well, nothing changed there.

Every year in sept ebucks rules changes.

So fees vs rules are 2 different things

I just got confirmation from my premier bankier, the fee waiver is up from R9000 to R15000 for current clients who are on the fee waiver.

The R50K is for new platimum clients who wants their fees waved :)

Thanks.

On platinum this is interesting:

Does it mean I mustn't use the cheque card (I don't)? Does it include payments or debit orders?
Pretty sure we are screwed the first time we go to an ATM.

New rules seems easier for me.

I will get 19000 points each month ,and I do not need to have smart device anymore :)

19000 is including the 2000 from using the overdraft ,but overdraft will be free on PC.
Also Don't need keep an investment account or min balance.

The 40% back on fnb connect airtime seems good also.
