The rate at which top up data is used on my wife's phone leaves me with the impression that something is wrong. This isn't the first time it's happened but this time I looked at the usage log on ClientZone and it doesn't correspond. Could Afrihost please look into it for me ?

Hmmmm.... I can understand your concern here. :( Do you have any data logs on your side that we can compare with our RAW logs on our side?

Normally what happens when it comes to high usage is that there was some sort of update that was happening in the background that nobody was aware of and there are many instances where this has happened. In saying this, if we find out that there is anything wrong I'll be sure to correct it for you. :)

I understand completely about updates and her phone is setup to install updates by permission only. She also switches her mobile data off when not actually using it. There is no 3rd party data monitor app installed eg. Glasswire, as we rely on the Afrihost Clientzone for that and that is where the data used doesn't correspond with the log of the last 20 sessions.

May I send you her details for investigation ?

Another thing bothering me is that the email notifications are coming through delayed ie I purchased a second top up last night but the data usage warnings only arrived by email after 10am this morning.

Is it an Android device? Android has a built-in data monitor, you can access it by going to Settings, Connections and then Data Usage. That should also give you a very accurate breakdown of the usage.

You are more than welcome to PM us! :)

Ya, the data monitor (which is not as accurate as your provider's logs) has a warning level which we utilise. This didn't kick in which raised the question of something not being right.

I have sent a PM with a screenshot of the account details from Clientzone. Thanks in advance for having a look.

Is it too early to ask if you've managed to have a look at that account ?

I know that threads like this can be concerning and I understand what you are saying. :( I promise you that we are aware of this and I can promise that we are doing everything in our power to sort this out!

Glad to hear it ! Any feedback on my issue though ?

AfriGenie will follow up with you shortly. :)

Don't wish to antagonize or put pressure on anyone but still no feedback. Can I at least get an update on whether this is being investigated or not ?

It is definitely being investigated. As far as I know AfriGenie is liaising with the relevant people to get more info for you. He's the best person to update you, which he'll do by PM.

I just replied to your PM with an update.

I have politely requested some time back that the account be investigated.
Instead 3 different AfriPeople have replied by asking questions or advising that someone else will get back to me.
Please investigate my claims with the info supplied from my side promptly and give me feedback.
In the politest possible way I inform you that your service has been poor, your response times abysmal and your strategy of batting inane pm's back and forth is tiring and transparent.
Afrihost really was more service oriented previously, but this experience has sadly taken some of the shine off.
Please give this your full attention and return results of your investigation.

Hey Mike, I am really sorry about the poor turnaround time - this is a complex issue from what I understand. AfriGenie is the only person on this forum dealing with your issue, so please deal directly with him.
