And that is why it appeals to me. I am done with the grind. 7 years of WOW doing raids with top 10 US guilds and farming mats just is not my idea of fun anymore. I want to play something then move on to the next one. So yes different strokes.... and it was well worth the $60 I paid (Bought a 4 pack) does not matter how you spin it.

So end game = I finished the game, I enjoyed it, now where is that Borderlands 2 icon....

Ah okay yeah 7 years of wow will do this to a you:p But the fact everyone can easily get all the "unique" items, makes them feel less "unique" to me, but if you're looking for a game to play through once TL2 is ideal I suppose.

I have a level 50 Engineer!! Loving this game and not at all bored! :D

Reminds me a lot of Nox by Westwood back in the day! I wish they would make a sequel to Nox!

Is anyone else running very short of cash (gold) though. I just can't seem to get enough of it to upgrade my character! :(

Maybe it is my fascination with enchanting every single piece of my equipment to the Max! :D

Somebody mentioned getting NPC's to join them? Where do I find those?

What i like in Torchlight 2...
Some of the small things.
NPC's (No boring grind fest to unlock their services, once you find them their fully available)

Where can I find some of these NPC's???
I haven't seen any sign of them yet?

Aaah he is talking about the traders and enchanters. Unlike other games you do not have to do something special to use their services. Find em and you can start shopping or enchanting.

Aaah, OK. I thought maybe you could hire NPC's as mercenaries. That's the only thing this game lacks. :)

Well I think they balanced out the amount of gold you get quite well, cause I mean if anyone remembers from the 1st one you just had so much gold that there was actually just nothing you could do with it, so the enchanting helps alot and ours gold to good use, they put alot of nice touches to number 2, I love the fact that your pet is alot more combat orientated and actually does contribute damage wise.ah and no durability loss! It was one of the biggest pains ever.

Question to anyone rolling a Beserker, how do you split your stats between Strength, Dex, Focus and Vitality, on most levels I'll put 2 in strength, 1 in dex and 2 in vitality, but I find myself popping a lot of mana potions, not sure if its worth it to invest in focus:confused:

Alright just reached act 3, on level 38 atm, and now i feel it starting to get quite difficult, what difficulty you guys playing on? I'm on veteran atm, oh and also the boss fights are way better than D3 and there are more boss fights in TL2, and they have been done creatively where as D3 bosses felt like they were done with no effort.

If I read torchlight 2 and diablo 3 in the same sentence once more I'm losing it:p

Reviews don't say jack squat, most reviews where written by butt hurt D3 players that quit after a week or 2 because the game was not how "they" wanted it to be(thats what happen when a game gets over hyped, still doesn't change the fact that D3 is a decent game), in 2 years from now people will still be playing the doomed game diablo 3, and we all woud've forgotten about TL2, just saying:p

Veteran here. Elite is way too hard, for no additional level of reward....

Uh, yeah. I think you will find that the image was a joke, you know. Tongue in cheek! ;)

I've finished it all on easy mode, now going back to try the next hardest mode.
BTW, when you finish it, you also have the option to go into "Game Plus" Mode where you can go back and start the story again from the beginning, but keeping the same character and stats... only with comparable enemies this time around.

I also tried out the MapMaking Mode. I bought a few of those maps... but I got killed on the first shot.
I think my character needs to be a lot stronger than level 53 to play those! :(
