Ooh I see Humble Bundle is still on and includes the 1st Torchlight. http://www.humblebundle.com/
If you do not own it you might wanna go pick it up for a $ or more, depending on how much you willing to pay and play em on Linux/Mac or PC.
I really don't see the point in pirating this game and I hope alot of people will contribute towards their efforts I mean its 20$ something like a 170 rand, and when you start playing it, it genuinely feels like a 400 or 500 rand game, I just hope they get a good turnover because I think we can expect good things from them if they have a good financial backing.

I love it that you guys do an AMA.
Something I've always wanted to know is why you guys sell your game for 20 bucks instead of 60 what seems to be the accepted norm now.
Also, how come you guys seem not to be afraid of piracy? (no drm?)

We sell for $20 because we want a bigger community, and for people all over the world to enjoy our game. Not everyone has $60 lying around. Plus, digital distribution, like on Steam, makes this more economically viable for a company like us. We couldn't make money selling $20 boxes only, but we'll do fine with this price because of the trend towards digital distribution.
With respect to piracy, a small company like ours isn't going to solve it. And the last thing we think is appropriate is to punish our honest customers for something other people are doing. We believe that if we put out a quality game at a fair price, there will be less incentive to pirate the game, and that those who do pirate it may decide to buy it down the road. That's our approach and we're sticking to it!

If most of these guys are from the original Blizzard team, then I can't wait to see what else they come out with!![]()
I wish they could bring this game to the nintendo 3ds
I bought a 3DS 3 days ago, because i missed those super mario games etc. so opened up the box, switched it, looked at it for 5 minutes, put it all back nice and neatly in the box, took it back to where I bought it and got my money, what a load of effing sh** that thing was, the resolution and screen size is a joke.
Me, most definitely.
Being a HUGE Diablo 2 fan, I was basically frothing at the mouth when standing in a long line at the midnight launch of Diablo 3...
I don't think I've ever been more disappointed in my entire life... So I went searching for aRPG's looking for a true successor to D2; not that WoWified, Pay2Win, Error 37, Always Online (see error 37) abysmal excuse from a team of shareholder-feet-lickers... er... I mean developers.
So I've also pre-ordered TL2. I never played the first one but I have hopes seeing as the dev team consists mainly of the dev team that made D2 one of the best things to grace a PC, I have hopes for it.
Also going to have a look at Path of Exile. Looks equally promising and it's F2P.
