So after my previous post: https://mybroadband.co.za/forum/threads/how-to-extend-range-from-huawei-b612-router.1055355/
My Tp-link Archer C2 acts as a Wi fi Extender from my main Huawei B612 router. Today I adjusted them both to channel 6 on my settings. When I put on the Tp-link router my Ip cameras go offline or when I search them on my LAN I can only find 2(the should be 4).When I put it off again at the main switch and use only the main Huawei B612 router they come online again but they freeze etc. I use the same SSID and password from the main router to the Tp-link.Why would that be? What could be the problem? Please guys I would really appreciate your help. I'm going bonkers trying to figure it out.

While you can use the same ssid and password for the wifi, you cannot run both on the same channel (channel 6 in your case). There will be interference between the two.

Wifi channels works in groups, meaning channel 1 to 3 belong to the same group. Ideally you want the two router on different channel groups.

Try changing the one router to channel 1 and keep the other on channel 6.

Male sure the ssid and password are the same on both routers, including the encryption type (wep / wpa / wpa2).

Hope this helps.
