Yes, I've been to Europe. I didn't find it particularly difficult to not sleep around.

He's in a committed relationship, not single.

If he wants to break up with her and go shagging around then that's another story.

If he was he would not have been posting this thread to begin with... Ofc he's going to get laid there. If he's saying he aint, he's lying not just to her but himself as well.

As noted previously, if you ok with traveling alone and pleasing yourself. I'm not judging. To each his own I guess :p
 
It seems you intend marrying the girl?There is no right or wrong decision here, You will both end up resenting each other no matter the decision.I say, take your 50k and your gf and go someplace closer to home, maybe even an African country.

Friends of mine did a tour to Vic Falls over December. They travelled through Mozambique, Malawi and Zambia. It looked incredible

But I might be a bit biased because one of my dream destinations is Lake Malawi
 
Yes part time studying. 27 years old.

I have a decent job and can save R12k plus a month. I have no debt to my name. If that makes be bad with money then so be it.

Apologies for that assumption then. I would have my kid's balls if he was to be going on a trip and blow R 50k while I pay his studies :D

27 is potentially settling down age especially if you going out with someone for 5 years. You cannot go on a trip without her if you plan on spending the rest of your life with her, if not just break up with her and go on the trip and save yourself the hassle. there is no easy answer bru

Wasting this kind of cash on an overseas trip is sierratangouniformpappaindigodelta...Buy a house and pay it off over 5 years...then go overseas. Having a paid off car is not an achievement indicating any form of financial security.

You want to go alone and you want to have fun while there. HOWEVER, you also want your GF to wait for you while you party and get laid so you can be with her on your return.

or maybe he want's to teach his girlfriend a lesson about not saving
 
Why not go somewhere else where you can spend the 50k on both of you?

Or help her sort out her money problems so she can pay for it herself.
