Ubuntu Natty 11.04 Release

I think they are doing a last bit of cramming to get everything ready, so I'm expecting it to be later tonight for us in SA. Still not a peep on the official sites:
http://blog.gmane.org/gmane.linux.ubuntu.announce
http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=13

I read a few articles that suggested (with statements from the Ubuntu devs.) that this release is a bit hurried and some mentioned that they would have done well with a month or so leverage. I'm expecting a lot of devs burning the midnight oil last night trying to get every as well rounded as they can for the release today.

I want to test out Unity and see how well polished it will be, I loathed it on my Netbook (Ubuntu Netbook edition), but who knows, it might just be the next big thing?

I stand corrected then, impressive I must say, I applaud the devs for getting this out in such a timely fashion.

EDIT:
It's not on the download servers yet? I get 404, so a couple more minutes...

Just keep trying, it seems like it is trying a different mirror every time you hit the download button.

Getting a steady 430Kb/s off a 4Mb/s ADSL line.

Is anybody else experiencing a problem displaying the new Ubuntu website in Chrome? Its all garbled in Chrome, works fine in Firefox.

Can you (please) quickly send me your sources.list?
I changed from mirror.ac to intl and it ended in this long-ass list.

lol, imagine trying to upgrade from vista to windows 7 without hours of downtime. Love upgrading the os while working.

It looks perfect in my Chrome. Maybe your text zoom is not 100%?
Edit: Won't be zoom problem, it zooms perfectly.

"Sigh" still installing the upgrades.

At least when I get in tomorrow I should have an awesome new upgrade to play with.

Downloading it right now...at 400KB/sec
