Its a Gnome issue and not Ubuntu. Gnome Network Manager has been improved to handle 3G connections separately. Also it will auto connect when a user boots up their PC without having to login.
Ubuntu or Kubuntu :-? I'll stick to windows xp sp3 thank you ... Can someone tell me why there is a need for 2 different UI ?
They dont need to. There are dozens, but they will be spending more time improving the look of their current release. And why hasn Canonical (Shuttleworths company) made their own UI ?
I'm sure they can innovate aswell as beg borrow & steal instead of using gnome or kde ?
