Hi All
Please advise should you be certain that the account is truly uns/unc and saix based.
I am so tired of ISP's promising the world and delivering nothing but hogwash; (IS / Afrihost / MWEB / etc.)
I require an account with the lowest latency, no shaping, preferably no cap or restrictions before 250 GB - at a reasonable rate. (Generally move 100 - 200 GB of data per month)
Use it for business during the day (http / email / remote desktop / teamviewer / streaming - livestation) and for downloading MS / Linux software (installation of machines) after hours and with the occasional use of P2P on weekends. (Some other protocols will be used, however are less important.)
I do not wish to buy shares in any ISP, nor do I wish to sponsor the CEO's wife's next 4X4 or their next holiday or their children’s education!
However, I realise it will not come cheap as long as it is reliable and there is a decent level of redundancy built in, with real live support. (Dedicated support 24 hours)
(Not the MWEB / IS kind of support, where you are required to speak with two idiots that cannot communicate in English and that have never owned a computer after which you are transferred to a person that has a basic level of understanding of the internet.)
Would truly appreciate some guidance.
Regards
Michael
