Upcoming Games

I am super excited to play this prequel,


however, they said it will be open-world and I don't see how it will work within this genre and I don't see why they went with the episodic route. I quite like the series made by Frogwares even though some are rather bad in concept it is the games I like to play in leisure.

This is now two gaming titles I want in 2021. Baldur's Gate and Sherlock Holmes, and I don't believe that there will be many brilliant titles in 2021 due to COVID-19. We are currently being entertained by remasters and remakes, and many 2020 titles have been pushed back or postponed to 2021.

I'm so excited, not gonna lie.
According to Gamespot it's going to have cross-play, single-player story, multiplayer, VR, and no micro-transactions. Will be $40 instead of the usual $60.
Interesting. On PC it will be available on Origin, Steam, and Epic.
Single-player will be set after Return of the Jedi.

It is a story, fiction. It is meant for a specific market. I personally don't fault works like this, in fact, I will even play it for my own curiosity.


I can see that some will avoid the title, though 'politics' aren't new in gaming and I can guarantee you that you will see some of the topics of this game also in Cyberpunk 2077. The only difference being the expression of the content.

oh I'm definitely not buying it. Just disappointed that it's from the same guy that gave us the classic Longest Journey
 
Now here's one I AM looking forward to because the original was so good. Haven't played that since 2003. Very disappointing though that they almost completely removed the cel shading. Why the hell did they do that? It's what made the original so unique

Have they announced a date for the game? I see it is on pre-order special, but with no release date.
