Upcoming Games

Ok thanks. You must be the type that like the Dark Souls type games - blerry masochists :p
Never really got into it myself. Got to the point where it felt like I needed to start creating spreadsheets and reading up on what the hell is going on more than actually playing and yeah that sounds just a little too much like work... Was pretty cool achieving orbit for the first time though.

Why didn't anyone tell me Telltale is back?

Would also love a Game of Thrones 2 and another Borderlands

They announced it at The Game Awards (2019). Telltale has been revived by LCG Entertainment in August 2019 once acquired, but apparently Telltale employees don't like how LCG operates so we will need to see how this translates into their games.

NoClip did a doc,

Yeah I just saw it today. Fingers crossed Wolf 2 won't disappear again

I hope so because LCG is a strange collective. LCG is part-owned by Rebellion's owners, corporate commanders (prior EA, Paradox, etc. top-level employees) and the company which will develop Amazon's games, Athlon, amongst others. They have the expertise and business knowledge, but unless they love what Telltale does, which is probably the IPs they are allowed to work with, it may turn out to be about making MOAR money (by introducing 'surprise' mechanics).

Rebellion is also supposed to release Evil Genius 2 this year, but they haven’t said much since E3 2019.

Yeah I've heard about the remaster last year I think. Will def get it. Blade Runner was my very first pc game along with Tomb Raider 2. I still have the original game

Ubisoft is bringing the next game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, to Google Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this holiday. The company revealed the first details on the game — it’s set in the ninth century against England’s Dark Ages — and released the debut trailer on Thursday.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will star Eivor, a Viking raider and clan leader. Players can choose to play as a female or male Eivor, and will be able to to customize her or him with a selection of hair, tattoos, clothing, war paint, and gear, Ubisoft says. Assassin’s Creed’s traditional open-world action-adventure gameplay will return, and Valhalla will build on that foundation with raids, settlement building and expansion, and political influence mechanics.

“Political alliances, combat decisions, and dialogue choices can influence the world of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, so players must choose wisely to protect their clan’s home and future,” Ubisoft said in a news release.
