Upcoming Games

Off the top of my head there is lots to look forward to.

Avowed, Hellblade, Stalker, POE2, Division Heartland , Flintlock etc

Though I will prob still be farming for and running various builds in Division 2.
5 years and still addicted.:ROFL:

Actually so many, at least from my wishlist.

Underspace
The spiritual successor to Freelancer with a Lovecraftian, sandbox RPG twist. Explore a vast handmade universe that includes online multiplayer and mod support. You're going to need a bigger ship.

Starminer
Design and build an interstellar mining fleet to strip space of its invaluable minerals, and sell them for a tidy profit. But beware. Your greed will attract the alien. Use warships and defense platforms to protect your fleet at all costs - in real space, in real time.

Alone in the Dark (very low confidence levels on this though)
Return to Derceto Manor in this reimagination of Alone in the Dark, a love letter to the 90’s cult classic horror game.

No Rest for the Wicked
From Moon Studios, the award-winning developers of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps comes No Rest for the Wicked, a visceral, precision Action RPG set to reinvent the genre.

Little Nightmares III
Embark on a new adventure in the unique world of Little Nightmares. In Little Nightmares III, you follow the journey of Low & Alone, as they search for a path that could lead them out of the Nowhere. Face your childhood fears together with a friend in online co-op, or in solo with an AI companion.

Unknown 9: Awakening
You are Haroona, a Quaestor born with the ability to venture into a mysterious dimension: the Fold. On her quest for powerful hidden knowledge, she must learn to master the powers of the Fold to fight a secret society with a hostile agenda.

Commandos: Origins (not sure I trust it though)
ALARM! You have been selected for a mission which will shape the fate of the entire world. Witness the very beginning of the legendary elite WWII force in Commandos: Origins. The long-awaited sequel to the Commandos series brings you right back to the foundation of the real-time tactics genre.

Nivalis
Grow your business, manage restaurants and nightclubs, make friends and enemies, buy and decorate apartments, go fishing and maybe even find love in Nivalis, the city that stretches from the ocean to the clouds.

And a few more still. Sure we'll get some stinkers but I think we've got a nice lineup. Frostpunk 2, hell yeah!

Thanks!. I knew there was something that had me excited and I forgot about!!

This promising action RPG will be available in Steam Early Access from April 18. The full version of the game will also be released on current generation consoles, i.e. PS5 and XSX/S.

I'm waiting for Gray Zone Warfare. I don't think it'll be excellent when the beta rolls around, but it looks like it has potential.

Looking forwards Horizon Forbidden West on PC and Dragons Dogma 2.

Hoping HFW releases midnight on Thursday so that there's plenty time to play on the public holiday, instead of the usual 7pm Steam release time.

Can't wait for HFW and two long weekends to play it! (it will probably take me 6 months or more to finish though).

For Act 1.
I'll have you know that I am nearly finished Act 2 of BG3! I also finished Cyberpunk this weekend (that took me nearly 11 months ). As you know, I am a slow and side questing type of gamer but also playing too many games at once.

Potential yeah, but that demo last week definitely did not get me excited. Game looks gorgeous but looks very bland. I kept wondering where the looting was. AI looks bad. Gun POV is weird, looks so small.

Think I hit 100+ hours with the DLC on PS5. Amazing game but very long.
I think it took me 160! Probably good that I will play other games alongside it, so I don't get burnt out. Also have my eye on Ghost of Tsushima which a friend described as "What if Aloy was a disgraced samurai?"

I think they intentionally skipped looting, maybe the system isn't quite where they want it yet.

AI is going to be the make/break I think. It needs a lot of work from what I saw. Gunplay looked okay, but red-dots on maps that large doesn't seem workable. It needs a lot of work still, but it is also early days so I'm not that worried just yet.

Day Before vibes... Hope I am wrong
You reckon? They've already showed more gameplay than Day Before ever did. If they go for a December beta, they've got some time. If they want to go into open beta soon, it'll basically just be a community QA project.

I agree, there is something there. Hopefully the community will steer them in the right direction. Hopefully this will become the Tarkov-like competition that is needed.

I too used to think 100 hours is long. I played RDR2 over 99 hours and it felt kinda short.
I did play it right after putting 225 amazing hours into BG3 though.

(I still think 30 hours is the sweet spot for most games. Most aren't interesting enough to play for longer)
