Not much else interests me from gamescom except of course for a bunch of sequels etc like Metro, Witcher 3 dlc and FFVII Revelation (still have to play Rebirth).
4/10 show. For anyone yet to watch just watch the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes.
That said my takeaways:
- Nodus Fall: Hoyoverse coop Monster Hunter
- Genigods Nezha: Knew about this one for a while
- Exodus: Mass Effect ripoff but that's not a bad thing
- Final Fantasy Revelation: I too have to play Rebirth first
- Ananta: Biggest open-world non-character gacha I'll play only because its a cosmetics only gacha
- Metro 2039: Obvious day 1
Known about Tides (highly anticipated), Resonance, Dawnwalker, Onimusha and Control Resonant and was always going to buy them anyway.
Crimson Desert already got its massive 33Gb patch revamping story among lots of other changes. This has far and away been the best supported title we've seen in recent memory. Consistent weekly patches since release for a single player game.
And of course Witcher 3 Remaster. Oh Witcher, here we go again. Modders please update my nude mods fast.
And its free holy **** CDPR you've had me for a long time but now you have me forever.
The likes of ****ing Bethesda cant even remaster their own games they have to outsource it, still manage to **** it up even then and to this day have no idea how to patch support it all while charging AAA prices.
