Upcoming Games

Wait, I didn't even know there's a new Plague Tale game. First I'm hearing of this and it's coming in a few days (i see the full game has already leaked on pc). But it's very different from the previous two games and more focused on combat.

I'm currently playing Assassins Creed Valhalla and gameplay-wise this looks almost exactly the same. Weird.

This is an amazing series and Requiem hit hard. Amicia's VA really impressed me. Best voice acting I've seen in a decade. Pity she was robbed at the game awards for "boy boy come here boy" memes.

And it looks almost the same because Ubi abandoned you actually being an "assassin" a very, very long time ago.

Not much else interests me from gamescom except of course for a bunch of sequels etc like Metro, Witcher 3 dlc and FFVII Revelation (still have to play Rebirth).

4/10 show. For anyone yet to watch just watch the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes.

That said my takeaways:

- Nodus Fall: Hoyoverse coop Monster Hunter
- Genigods Nezha: Knew about this one for a while
- Exodus: Mass Effect ripoff but that's not a bad thing
- Final Fantasy Revelation: I too have to play Rebirth first
- Ananta: Biggest open-world non-character gacha I'll play only because its a cosmetics only gacha
- Metro 2039: Obvious day 1

Known about Tides (highly anticipated), Resonance, Dawnwalker, Onimusha and Control Resonant and was always going to buy them anyway.

Crimson Desert already got its massive 33Gb patch revamping story among lots of other changes. This has far and away been the best supported title we've seen in recent memory. Consistent weekly patches since release for a single player game.

And of course Witcher 3 Remaster. Oh Witcher, here we go again. Modders please update my nude mods fast.

And its free holy **** CDPR you've had me for a long time but now you have me forever.

The likes of ****ing Bethesda cant even remaster their own games they have to outsource it, still manage to **** it up even then and to this day have no idea how to patch support it all while charging AAA prices.

I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the Witcher 3 Remaster and the fact that it's completely free for those who already own the game, plus both DLC will be free for those that only own the base game (doubt there will be many though).

Even the new DLC coming out next year is looking pretty impressive.

Heroes of Might and Magic III remake has piqued my interest...I spent a good amount of hours on the second one back in the day.

Also the Lego City builder thing looked fun

So good might as well be new

Never played it, so I jumped into it after the last 60fps and enhanced visuals update. The combat didn’t feel updated though, so I stopped soon after. I’ll definitely play it if the combat feels better in this remaster.

You should try the new one, Heroes of Might and Magic Olden Era. It's in EA but scratches the itch well.

Ja no look companies like Pearl Abyss and CDPR have shown how terrible Bethesda have become At this point, I have no hope for ES6.

This is what I'm waiting to see too

Played the switch version, which is the "enhanced" version, and the combat was a bit meh, so quit during what I assume was the prologue

But some people love it, maybe I just need to buck up 🤷‍♂️
