Yeah, Rasmussen - sucking up to the orange arse forever.

If I had to believe that 50% of Americans approve of Trump then I'd have to say that 50% of Americans could be sold that bridge in Brooklyn, over and over again.

Perhaps that second thought is true.

Rasmussen is a useless polling company, Gallop is much better. Funny how polls are relevant to Trumpets when its in orange fuhrers favour.

They're all equally useless, the millisecond polling started serving political interests they all became entirely useless. Not sure what the exact date would have been or if they ever did poll in a scientifically neutral and disinterested manner to being with even.

It's Gallup btw, not a horse on the trot :p
I like how their stats show the average presidential approval rating over the duration of their terms was higher for Bush than Obama though :D

Lol just before Trump you were singing Gallups praises

Auto correct does that

Of course you do  , although that ignores the role of 9/11.

Recognizing that they're the "official" and more trusted polling group with a much longer history is hardly "singing praises"

although that ignores the role of 9/11.
Just like Obama takes credit for the "economic recovery" when the solution was put in place by the previous administration i.e. they both rode a wave of optimism they can't take credit for.

Yup, Obama just rode the Hell out of that optimistic wave of recession from 2008 'till 2012. If you check video clips from the time, you'll see he was using a Lehman Brothers surfboard, catching the waves off Unemployment Pier down at Foreclosure Beach.

Wait what? If you ask Obama he would tell you they started to recover in 09

You seem to be trying some sarcasm here, yet you make points that are factually correct :p
His highest approval ratings through his entire two terms were throughout 2009:

Lovely weekend away at the river... What I miss?

Donald J. Trump
‏@realDonaldTrump

Fake News reporting, a complete fabrication, that I am concerned about the meeting my wonderful son, Donald, had in Trump Tower. This was a meeting to get information on an opponent, totally legal and done all the time in politics - and it went nowhere. I did not know about it!

Oh.......

I see Trumpites are now retconning GWB's administration as not only not being at fault for the housing disaster, but being the cause of the recovery :crylaugh: :crylaugh:

This is up there with Garson's assertions that Nixon dindu nuffing :D

Oh and weird that Alan hasn't posted anything about Trump coming clean about more Trump Tower dirt, he's usually on the ball with news like that and not biased at all

Wait, so it wasn't about adoption?

Trump says his son sought information on Clinton from Russians in 2016

"The Trump Tower meeting was so innocent that they lied about it repeatedly during the campaign and again during the transition and then when they were caught lied about it then lied about who dictated the lie.

All just a big nothingburger."

Ugh. I’ve seen this movie before. We’re at the part of the third act where all the characters wearing red hats say “collusion” and “conspiracy” are TOTALLY different, aren’t we?

They've already switched to "collusion is not a crime" after lying about it for 2 years. Although they contradict themselves daily by wanting Clinton to go to jail for the thing they claim isn't actually a crime.

The end result will probably be something like "we had to collude to keep Crooked Hillary out of office".

Yep, and in tangentially Clinton related news, I’m here for our resident experts in meetings on aircraft to tell us why Clinton/Lynch ‘16 is utterly terrible but Trump/Hicks ‘18 is vanilla soft serve, candy floss, butterflies and puppies.

"How narrow is Trump's base?"

Nice thread
