The US only gave them $120mil in 2007 (more of a token gesture than anything else), and they run a USD 6 billion trade surplus. They are a net exporter of military equipment and are largely self-sufficient.

If push really comes to shove, the worlds wealthiest Jews can easily bail Israel out, but at this stage it's not required, as their economy is pretty decent.
