Anyone know if there are any 64 bit drivers for Vista for the Sentech USB desktop modem?

If not, does anyone know if the drivers that noWire's providing (on CD) will work on Windows Server 2003 (32 bit)?

Thanks very much.

Suggestion - make a backup image of your Win2k3 installation with Clonezilla, install the drivers and see if that works.

But why Sentech?

I do know the vista drivers work with XP and dual core processors (see the sticky about this) and those drivers came from a New Zealand website, it is possible that they are available there. There is another sentech employee on this board, maybe he can help?

They seem to work. Server has modem and a proxy server. Is working OK. Can't expect better than that

But why Sentech?
Had them since they started up. Telkom line got installed last week, so should be able to toss them out very soon.

Hey. Just bumping this topic. I'm sitting on my phone because my vista 64 is having driver issues, of course.

Other than emailing Sentech, is there anywhere that i can get these drivers from?
(I can only find 32 bit vista drivers from that kiwi site) :(

You could try nowire... but I doubt if they would know what you are talking about, and sentech may be even worse. Try mailing the Kiwi people, see what they say.

Won't work guys. If you want to use a 64BIT OS, rather get an ethernet cable (you can try NoWire - not sure how effective they will be - otherwise you may have to try for a 2nd hand one). Once you have this, you can connect via a PPPoE connection on your OS. That is the ONLY way.
