Vodacom cancellation hassles

Has anyone else had a problem cancelling business services with Vodacom?

I am trying to cancel some of our corporate services. I have written to vbs.admin@vodacom.co.za and attached a signed letter from our directors along with a directors ID, as required. I then receive a reference number. A couple of days later I get an email from another address stating that there were no attachments. (I confirmed that attachments were indeed sent) This has happened twice in the past two weeks.

Why ask for the documentation if the system does not receive the attachments?
This feels like a Vodacom scam to prevent us from cancelling before the end of the billing period.

I was finally contacted and the cancellations are being processed. I will update this post with the progress
