Or deep inside buildings.Fair enough. But for the "average" user there is no real benefit. Seems like a niche service for those frequenting rural, or international, locations
The VoLTE sign will show up everytime when you are in 4G coverage. VoWiFi only works when the signal is bad. You can force that by putting your phone in flight mode and turning on your WiFi and the VoWiFi sign will pop up. Both must be provisioned by the Vodacom call centre. Sometimes have to try more than once. You'll get a sms to confirm it has been provisioned on your line

Yes, it must be XFV (Vodacom's Firmware) else it won't work.What phone you using?

Also I can't remember if this was only for Cell C or if I had to do it for Vodacom as well but "international calling" needs to be deactivated before requesting Wi-Fi calling to be active.
Did you by chance mention both terms, I.e. Wi-Fi calling and Vowifi to those agents?
In the drop down settings when you swipe to the right (edit: left) do you have the Wi-Fi Calling symbol selectable?Phoned in again and the agent had no clue. She however put me on hold and said she will get someone to call me back.
While I waited I hopped onto the live chat and the chat agent said it's already active.
Received a call from the other agent shortly after and he said it is NOT active but he will activate it and it will take up 24 hours. Even explained to me how the billing works etc..
