Vodacom to reduce data prices by 30% from April: Competition Commission

Deputy commissioner Hardin Ratshisusu said the competition instructed Vodacom and MTN to reduce prices by at least 50% and 30%.

How will this affect those of us with contracts!? Do we get allocated extra data each month, or do our monthly charges get reduced?

When is the price Reduction kicking in ?

Thought it was supposed to be 1 April 2020.

Hope mybb Journalists can do an article on why the reductions never kicked in or their new pricing.

But they wont as we know Bell Pottingers exist. No negative reporting.

I came here to ask same thing. We were told contracts would also get the reduction, but I checked this morning and my package is exactly the same... Have posted two queries on their Facebook page, no replies.
