I have had to reconnect my router over 10 times today already so I stuck the option card into my laptop and checked the IP.

PPP adapter Vodafone Mobile Connect:

Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 41.28.160.98
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.255
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 0.0.0.0

I see that we are not getting a default gateway, could this be the problem?

The strange thing is the my router connects fine for up to 10 minutes.

Internet APN, I'm not provisioned for any other connection type
Router auto APN

Routing Table Entry List on the router
Destination LAN IP Subnet Mask Gateway Interface
10.64.64.64 255.255.255.255 0.0.0.0 WAN (Internet)
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 10.64.64.64 WAN (Internet)

For some reason I can for a few minutes

What should the Default Gateway be? I can put it in manually on the router and see if this solves the problem

I just want to be arrive later and get my email, browse etc :/

What on earth could cause an outage of so long ... ? Even if we delayed in reporting it, Vodacom have known about it for close on 24 hours now :/

Could someone let me know if I'm going to have reception when I get home?

I've been down for 15% of the month - will Vodacom add 15% onto my bundle? Or refund me 15%?

Hey guys,

I'm in Bedfordview and have absolutely no 3G connection. Are there still problems in the area? APN = internet. Device = iPhone 3G.

Thanks.
