Vodacom service problems explained (23 September 2011)

Vodacom are getting worse and worse...
At least it is working again now.
 
CPT side still stuffed, phone goes straight to voicemail.

Unfortunately, I am beginning to agree with you guys.
I am struggling to complete most calls these days.
I would estimate that only 2 to 3 calls out of every 10 are completed successfully.
 
Sometimes I don't receive a call and then get a txt to say I have missed a call.
 
Another month, another outage.....
Fortunately this one was resolved within an hour and a half (at least that was my experience).
Vodacom is really making their subscribers see red....

Took like 3 hours my side to get resolved... Rebooted phone every 30 mins, so it wasn't that. Service is getting worse and worse, can i cancel my contract due to the fact they had that last big outage and this one?

to me that is a normal day. one guy i work with can never get further than voicemail when he phones me, even when we're sitting at the office. it's the same when i phone him.

i'm so happy to be moving to "the c" in the next few days. screw vodacom, i'm tired of outages, voicemails, no internets and smss not going through.
 
After the last fiasco I ported to another service provider.

Best move I ever made.

mine problem started 3 days ago it got resolved late yesterday after noon .... go figure but my contract is end next month and already canceled... looking for other pastures (dont know if they greener :( )

Please do a manual selection on your phone:

Select these options: Menu select Networks Select manual selection then select any other Network e.g. MTN or CELL-C and press OK. An error message will appear. Then select Vodacom.

THIS DOES NOT WORK ... I AM STILL NOT RECEIVING CALLS / SMS.
I cant even do my banking... It is end of the month... WTF!!
