Vodacom upgrade question...

Hi all,

After figuring out that you can SMS "UG" to 31050 to find out your upgrade date.

I wondered, I know so places offer to upgrade early, I upgrade on the 2009-08-16.

Anyone know if one can upgrade early?

I know MTN used to offer you the option of upgrading on the 16/18 months of a 24 month contract.

Just curious if this is possible on Vodacom.

Nope you can't only on that date (which is after 22months of the contract i believe)

if its ur first tiem upgrade, u can usually upgrade a month or two months earlier...this might have changed though, best bet is to find a vodacom store and ask them

I've been with Vodacom for like, 6 years I think.

i struggle to remember, but i think i got an early upgrade even after i had upgraded before...but it was my FIRST early upgrade......irrelevant though, reckon just go to your nearest vodacom shop,

or actually jsut go to the vodacom 4 u website, it tells you on there if you are eligible for an early upgrade...saves the hassle of retail staff harrasment

I went to the Vodacom site, which tells me I'm due for an upgrade (Woop woop Iphone 4 here I come) Unfortunately their website is WRONG! I've still got a few months to wait

If your bill amounts to more than R800 on average then you might be able to do a premature upgrade.
