Last night I purchased a 100MB MyMeg100 data bundle via FNB online ( well the FNB app for Android).
When I checked online this morning It didn't show. I called 082111 and was told that the data had been allocated but was used ! I have a Samsung Galaxy and use the datamanger app. It shows I only used 12Mb the whole month to date and only 238Kb yesterday and today combined. Which is inline with what I know my usage to be. I work from home and use the wireless connection and the app is 100% foolproof according to Samsung. Anyway it's been accurate all the time so far.
If I check online the mini-statement shows GPRS usage overnight as 545Mb ! This is a prepaid account with zero airtime on it. Sow how can this data have been used overnight when my phone was off ? My apps are set to only ever update when wireless is on, besides which my data manger shows a totally different picture.
I've just done a little test now and I have zero data and zero airtime yet am able to download as much as I like !
It shows online in the mini statement but I aint beeing billed
Should I just shut up and keep getting free data ? Or should I try and get to the bottom of what happened to my original 100Mb ?
