I know the downloads from Vodacom's website is zero rated.

BUT:

Is the ENTIRE Vodacom site zero rated to Vodacom customers?

What access medium for www.vodacom.co.za and other Vodacom-related sites , are you using vlive on a cellphone , datacard with "internet" apn , wimax ???

I think it was only for the Vodacom Data Downloads section.

Would be really nice if the whole site was zero rated.
Means that keeping a "ping www.vodacom.co.za -t" wouldnt eat away at my data.

I want to further extend this by:

- Moving the download section into 4me, behind a login.

- Get to a point where 155 only support the latest published firmware and software. (Practically probably the latest 2 versions).

4me (on a PC) should be zero-rated. Might already be, need to check. On mobile, I think it already is.

Hi guys,

Do you guys know of "free" vodacom websites, sites that will not use up data from my data bundle?

I did preform a search on this topic, but received a lot of other posts pertaining to the keyword "free".

I dont know of any Vodafone site being zero rated. The download section of the www.vodacom.co.za site is still zero rated though.

And just to confirm the above in practice, I recently downloaded software, comparing my Before and After usage and the counter hadn't budged, so it does work....

It was before the vodacom website was updated/upgraded.
Was definitely the vodacom site as I double checked it (I also assumed it would be free as I had a letter from them about 8 months before that telling me to upgrade my modem firmware and it would be free if done from vodacom's website).
