Hi Everyone,

Mind me while I vent my anger.

We're a medium sized company, about 150 phone extensions. 50 on DECT wireless. I looked around for a least-cost call solution, and concluded that VOX was worth a try.
They were contacted, and I met with them - got everything going as far as paperwork goes.

Long and short of it. Took them 2 months to get the solution working. We had about 20 days solid use of it before I cancelled the contract. Quality was rotten, too many technical issues, and very amateur. And now they slap us with a R16,000 bill for the usage and service fees. I wouldn't touch this solution with a 20 ft pole. I can live with most things, but when you get rude, arrogant senior management - I'm very sorry, there's better places out there to go to.

Thanks!
Zakaria

i concur with the "rude senior management", been down that road, got really p*d off!! its like speaking to a brick wall, and emails don't get replied to.
but you need to analyse on why it failed. how were you connecting to their switches? ADSL or Diginet?
And how many concurrent calls do you have on average?

VoIP works, no doubt aboutit...its the deployment that makes a difference.

I'm not sure whether you had VOX helping you directly or one of their Telepreneur.....if it was the latter, you got a raw deal as most of their Telepreneur don't know that 1+1=2.

Anyway, list your requirement here, or PM me and I'll be glad to assist with professional advice. :) ..
