I logged on to my Vox control panel just now. It agrees 100% with the data usage recorded on my router.

Wi-Fi not enabled.
Have had this issue since July... reported it. Have proof of data usage from various times. I am going to ask Telkom for usage on that line for the period in question (yes, they do keep track, no matter which ISP you use).
Also, how do you explain that the same usage pattern over a month yields much less (30% less) data consumption on ANY other ISP account?

MyBB not working again, using my AH account now to post this.
This is getting old, fast. My two favourite sites are affected by this crap.
as of 1st of September it seem that VOX packages changed. fatpipe had been unshaped but can now be shaped under heavy traffic. the g4g changed from unshaped to shaped thus the R59 bolt on getting shaped now as well. pre 1 September customers still enjoy the same levels of unshaped unless there's severe strain on the network.
I have a Fatpipe account and only issues I have is during peak times with my exchange.
Other than the exchange, my ADSL isn't throttled at all. I have very low latency (below 200ms to international gaming servers) and when I download something from *cough* legal *cough* sites, I get my full line speed (10mbps).
Seems you are correct, there are new business rules and T&C's from September 2014.
"6.2. The supplier reserves the right to shape usage"
And it is now mentioned as being given "priority only", whereas it used to be advertised as "unshaped".
Shame on you VOX, hiding behind T&C's as you increase your subscriber base to manage demand.
What I find misleading is that "Business" Fatpipe says it is totally unshaped.
What is the difference btw. consumer and business fatpipe then as they both cost the same ?
The consumer in this country just can't win.
Maybe we should all ask to become "business" fatpipe users considering its the same price :wtf:
Anyone else having issues with torrents?
Mine are crawling, consistently between 0 and 20kb/s. Should be way higher (speedtest is over 2mbit/s). This is supposed to be an unshaped/throttled line. What gives, Vox?
Well I stream some episodes on XBMC using the XBMCtorrent interface, and the last 2 weeks it has been 50/50. Sometimes ok, sometimes non existent.
While Afrihost is not the most reliable, torrents always fly on their capped and I have tested it when Vox has been iffy and it works.
Things are not what they were a while back, that's for sure.
