Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Apparently it is Telkoms fault. I wish I could find an ISP who will provide stable internet

Well will see what they have to say about my issue as there is no ways that is Telkom, then Afrihost would return similar results.

I used the same argument - but they stuck to the story

I'll too be cancelling if the same symptoms repeat again tonight. This is becoming a frequent recurrence and is far from the unshaped fat pipe experience I was expecting in the long haul when I signed up

No individual customer needs to log a ticket for what was going on last night. If VOX has any kind of NOC presence they would have seen their ADSL network crumbling under the pressure last night themselves, and issued a network notice of some sort by now to all affected clients. If they aren't aware of it, and no longer have an active rep on these forums to engage with us regarding traceroutes and speed tests, then it seems my decision to cancel will be amply justified without any regrets; and something tells me I won't be the only one

I've got my PingPlotter graph going... Let's see if it turns into a picture of table mountain again this evening

Edit: Looks like we don't even need to wait for tonight to come after all...:

I am getting God awful local latency today. An hour ago it was just high latency. Now it is about 90% packet loss.

Afrihost is fine, so it's not Telkom.

Im in durban

Same here, can't even load websites.
Also in Durban

So I seem to have major packet loss this morning. Started around 10 mins ago. All is fine on when switching to Afrihost.

My browsing with Vox sort of came to a halt, web pages not loading fully.

This was after getting kicked out of Hearthstone - so switched to my WA acc and all is working 100%.
Glad it is not just me, sure as hell hope Vox get this sorted soon! :-/
