Vox Telecom Fatpipe

Ya, down since 1am. Was to tired to test. But this morning still down. Axxess free account working! Ai VOX!
 
Quick question, anywhere they actually announce outages and issues apart from the app like their website. Don't trust the info on that app.
 
Just called them. They have issues with ADSL in Western Cape/ Cape Town. They're working on getting it resolved.
 
Also called them. Engineers are working on problem. Btw I started seeing a slow down in my downloads (at half the speed) last night around 8pm.
 
Also noticed things slowing down and had some disconnects, trying out the free data on my Afrihost capped acc..
 
Anyone use hulu on vox fatpipe? Been using both for a few years now and noticed in the couple of months that the quality of the service has dropped. e.g when starting up hulu i would get connection issues, or when starting a program it would give an error. do this one or two times and it would work.

So this weekend i decided to try my afrihost and TI accounts and Hulu was performing like it used to. No issues. This leads me to believe the error is on VOX side? ANyone else experience this?

Gonna log with Vox but not sure how they going to assist with this one.

You can only use ADSL data if you have Telkom Fibre, as far as I know (currently doing it). I would love to know of other providers which allow for this as well?
 
Anybody think Vox going to come out with same notice as AH or crytalweb?
Vox was good (R164 deal best ever) so just watching the movements closely

I am hoping they do. I am waiting on AH to announce their Fibre plans. Then I will most likely switch if Vox has not announced new rates/plans.

I am currently paying vox for 100mbit fibre + 50gb forced data which I dont use + 500gb fatpipe promo. I am hoping with AH's new packages that I can pay for line rental + 300gb of data (with uncapped most of the time). That should bring my total price down by a bit.

The only way for vox to keep my business is to stop with the forced data plans. Its not ethical and its a bull**** way of making money off a customer.

Yes, experiencing the same with Hulu on Vox FatPipe Capped
(but also on IS ignte uncapped through incredible corruption)
